REFLECTION LOOKING THROUGH
I was raised in a vibrant artistic atmosphere, shaped by the boundless creativity of my parents. My father, Benik Petrosyan, was a master sculptor whose works embodied the Armenian spirit, and my mother, Alisa Adamyan, was not only a gifted violinist but also a cultural leader who influenced many through her social and artistic contributions. Growing up, I was surrounded by their energy, witnessing firsthand how love and creativity intertwined to build a life rich with purpose and meaning. My brothers, Vahagn Hayrapetyan, a world-renowned jazz pianist, and Areg Petrosyan, a celebrated sculptor and restorer, continued this creative legacy, further enriching the artistic environment I was fortunate to be immersed in.
This environment—filled with music, art, and the presence of legendary figures—deeply impacted my artistic path. I watched my family live in harmony, their power of unity shaping my understanding of life and creativity. Now, as I create, I carry the love, warmth, and legacy they gave me, transforming that childhood into today’s expressions of light, color, and emotion.
I am proud to be part of a generational legacy, honoring my roots while carving a new path forward as a female artist, where tradition meets innovation in every piece I create.
